We are currently recruiting for a permanent full time Supervising Social Worker in Safehouses, Norfolk.

The successful candidate will support Foster Carers covering Norfolk and Suffolk, around the general Breckland area.

It is essential that candidates drive and have their own car/full driving licence, as well as a willingness to travel as part of this role.

We are seeking a fully qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker with preferably 3 years post qualifying experience.

You will have an experienced understanding of the role and life of a Foster Carer to bring to this diverse, busy and very rewarding role. The successful candidate will manage a foster carer caseload of approximately 9-10. Further information will be explained upon application.

You will be committed to ensuring that our Carers receive the highest level of support and supervision that is expected from The Company. You will require excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be experienced in preparing reports for formal meetings and presenting information.

You will have a sound knowledge of childcare legislation including the Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011, National Minimum Standards and Care Planning Regulations 2010.

We need the selected candidate to be able to quickly and effectively understand the needs of their Foster Carers and provide support and supervision. Candidates should be advised that this role will be subject to an enhanced DBS check if they are not already on the DBS update service.
