We are currently recruiting for a full time Supervising Social Worker (SSW) based at the Safehouses Office in Norfolk (35 hours per week).

The role of the SSW requires candidates to be fully qualified and experienced in Social Work with preferably 3 years post qualifying experience.

You will have an experienced understanding of the role and life of a Foster Carer to bring to this diverse, busy and very rewarding role.  The successful candidate will each manage their own Foster Carer caseload of approximately 10 which are located throughout Norfolk, North Essex and Suffolk.  Further information will be explained upon application.

The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring that our Carers receive the highest level of support and supervision that is expected from the Group. You will require excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be experienced in preparing reports for formal meetings and presenting information.

You will have a sound knowledge of Child Care legislation including the Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011, National Minimum Standards and Care Planning Regulations 2010.

It is essential that candidates drive and have their own car and a full driving licence.
